When it comes to obtaining a Microsoft certificate you need to be able to work with one of two platforms that are used in conjunction with all their software packages. One needs to decide whether they want to train in Windows Server 2003 or Windows 2000 platform. For the Windows Server 2003 platform training you will need no less than 12 months experience in all aspects of Microsoft's network and desktop operating systems. Then at the end of the training each person will be required to complete and pass 6 core exams along with one exam that they have chosen themselves.
If you would rather obtain a Microsoft Certificate for Windows 2000 then it is important that you have been using and dealing with this system for at least 12 months prior to starting your training. For this particular certificate you only need to know how to use Microsoft's network operating system and at the end of the training you will be required to sit and pass five core exams, but rather than selecting just one further exam yourself you have to choose two.
Certainly through obtaining the right qualifications that you get from Microsoft Certificate training you could soon be on the way to enhancing your employment chances in a very competitive field. Certainly getting the Microsoft certificate qualifications is not going to do your career any harm at all.
